BIOGRAPHY:
Dr. Claude Bakoumé is Agronomist, Geneticist, Molecular Biologist, Breeder Senior Research Officer, and Member of Board of Managers of the High Institute of Medical Technology at Cameroon. His Ph.D. in Genetics competed at University Kebangsaan, Malaysia and studied Post MSc (DEA) in Biotechnology and Plant Breeding at University of Cocody‚ Côte d’Ivoire.
Dr. Claude Bakoumé published many articles in national and international journals, and Editorial board member in several international journals, Co-supervision of BSc (Hons), MSc and Ph.D. candidates in related university.
Dr. Claude Bakoumé’s research interest includes Plant Reproduction, Marker-Assisted Breeding, Conventional breeding of oil palm, Molecular breeding, Moringa oleifera, mycorrhization, growth, previous vegetation cover, rainforest region.
