BIOGRAPHY:
Jinping Suo earned his PhD degree at 2000 from Beijing Iron & steel General Institute of Material Science. From 2000, He worked as a professor of Material Science at Huazhong University of Science and Technology. He is mainly engaged in the research of nuclear fusion structural materials, new metal composite materials, and functional coatings and so on.
Jinping Suo has undertaken and participated in the National Key Technology Research and Development Program of the Ministry of Science and Technology of China, the National Program on Key Basic Research Project of China (973 Program), the Chinese Defense Advance Research Program of Science and Technology, the National Magnetic Confinement Fusion Science Program of China (ITER plan), the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and other national-level scientific research projects.
In the past five years, Jinping Suo national research funding has exceeded 10 million yuan. In recent years, he has published more than 50 papers on Corrosion Science, Journal of Nuclear Materials, Surface & Coatings Technology and so on, and also got several patents.
