BIOGRAPHY:
Dr. R. Manivanan is currently working as Scientist 'B', Central Water and Power Research Station, Pune India. He obtained his Ph. D in Science in Recycling of Textile effluents at Bharathiar University, Coimbatore, India, 2000. He has twenty-six years of experience in working with various organizations, which includes research and academic positions in India. Having a wide experience in mathematical modeling and simulation of riverine, estuarine and reservoir flow dynamics (hydrodynamics), salinity intrusion, sediment transport, morphological changes, and other transport process pertaining to coastal and environmental engineering problems. Also having experience in the field visit, data collection, analysis of the problem, development of software and carrying out collaborative work. He authored two books, book chapters, and many articles. He has professional membership in several associations and is acting as Editorial board member and reviewer for peer-reviewed journals.
