Dr. Sayyed Yaghoub Zolfegharifar is the Assistant professor and Head of Civil Engineering Department at the Yasooj Islamic Azad University of Iran from October 2017. Dr. Zolfegharifar holds a Ph.D. in civil engineering from University Technology Malaysia, a Msc. and Bsc. in civil engineering from Iran Islamic Azad University.
Dr. Sayyed Yaghoub Zolfegharifar interests include Environmental Geotechnics Analysis, Earthquake and Natural Hazards, Application of Geotechnical engineering Methods to Environmental Systems Analysis, Development in Less-industrialized countries of the world, emphasis on Asian countries, Geotechnical & Highway Engineering, Geology & Geo-informatics, Geo Chemistry, Soil Physicochemical properties, Recycling Waste Materials in Construction and Road
