BIOGRAPHY:
Dr. Seema Akbar is currently Assistant Director of the Regional Research Institute of Unani Medicine at the University of Kashmir Campus, India. She obtained her Ph.D. in Chemical studies by the Kanpur University (1990) after achieving M.Sc.degree in Chemistry Luck now University India (1984). She worked as a researcher in Institutes is Industrial Toxicology Research Centre Lucknow, RRIUM Srinagar and also has teaching experience to the students of the Department of Environmental Sciences Kashmir University. She has attended Workshops and International Seminars.
Dr. Seema Akbar received awarded and has two patents and has authored books/book chapters. She published research papers and association with scientific research journals. She has Membership of Professional Academic Bodies and Editorial Board.
