Dr. Ray Kirk was previously Director of the Health Sciences Centre, University of Canterbury (2007 – 2012), a member of the Medical Services Advisory Committee (MSAC), Australia, 2001-2008, the Community and Public Health Committee (CPHAC) of the Canterbury District Health Board (CDHB) (2001-2005), and an INAHTA Board member (1999-2002). Associate Professor Ray Kirk was the foundation director of the New Zealand Technology Assessment Unit, Christchurch School of Medicine and Health Sciences, from 1997-2005 and is currently Director of the Health Services Assessment Centre (HSAC) and the evidence-based centre on complementary and alternative medicine (ENZCAM).
