BIOGRAPHY:
Dr. Hazem M. Shaheen is the Head of the department of pharmacology, faculty of veterinary medicine, Damanhour University, Damanhour, El-Behera Governorate, Egypt. He accomplished both MD and Ph.D. in veterinary pharmacology from the faculty of veterinary medicine, Zagazig University, Egypt. He received short-term assignments (for 6 months). The Center for Environmental Health Science for the Next Generation, Research Institute for Science and Technology, Tokyo University of Science. 2641 Yamazaki, Noda, Chiba 278-8510, Japan. Scientifically, his principal research interests lie in the field of Pharmacokinetics and Pharmacodynamics of Chemotherapeutic agents. His future research plans are to investigate bacterial and parasitic resistances to different chemotherapeutics. In vivo pharmacokinetic studies performed in various species (cattle, rabbit, sheep, and goat) according to good laboratory practice (writing of protocols/standard operating procedures/study reports, study design, the performance of pharmacokinetics/statistical analyses of data). He is having outstanding records of scientific and academic achievements with multiple publications in highly impacted journals and various presentations at both national and international meetings (conferences and workshops).
