BIOGRAPHY:
Professor Jason Powell holds a Personal Chair in Sociology and Gerontology at The University of Chester. Previously he worked as Associate Dean of Faculty in several Universities holds 4 Honorary Professorial posts at Guangdong Technology University in China, McMaster University in Canada, Tasmania University in Australasia and in the International Centre for Education, Social and Humanitarian Studies. He has held 7 Visiting Professorships at in US, UK, Jordan, South Africa and Australia. He has held 8 Fellowships in Professions and at top-ranked universities including The University of Oxford.
Dr. Powell has interests in interdisciplinary research focusing on aging and social policy. He has held many research and knowledge with many publications inc 70 academic books and refereed journal articles. He is acting an Editorial Board member and Editor-in-Chief for several international journals
