BIOGRAPHY:
Dr. Mohd Khan is working as Assistant Professor of Biochemistry, King Saud University, Saudi Arabia. He did his Postdoctoral at University of medicine and dentistry, New Jersey, USA. He is working in the Protein Research chair Unit and published many articles in the field of Biochemistry.
RESEARCH INTERESTS:
Dr. Mohd Khan main interests in the research are: Protein folding and Misfolding associated with Neurological diseases like Alzheimer and Parkinson’s; role of post-translational modification like glycation in diabetic neuropathy; expression and purification of proteins; structure-function co-relation of proteins and enzymes; Protein aggregation and amyloid formation; Screening of inhibitors of amyloid; cell toxicity associated with β-amyloid.
