Professor Bhupendar Khatkar did his PhD at University of Reading, Reading, England. Presently he is serving as Professor and Chairman in India. He has also been Dean, Faculty of Bio-Sciences and Technology. He has so far guided 83 Master’s students and 15 Ph.D. students for research projects. He has published many books, 120 research and review papers. He has been honored with many awards and appreciation certificates for outstanding research work.
Dr Bhupendar Khatkar research interests includes wheat proteins chemistry, dough & gluten rheology, baked products processing & quality, cereal grains milling & quality, health foods & neutraceuticals, food safety & quality.
